The lid is fitted with numerous small ventilation holes, which have been specially designed to improve air circulation inside the bin. The continuous exchange of air allows moisture to evaporate more quickly. This prevents unpleasant odours, reduces the formation of maggots and keeps fruit flies at bay – all without the need for any additional chemicals.

The micro-perforated lid fits easily onto your existing AirBox® organic waste bin. It is made from robust, durable plastic and is ideal for everyday use in the kitchen. If necessary, you can simply remove the lid and wash it in the sink with warm water and a little washing-up liquid.
